We are lucky tolaunched a new Adaptive Foundations program in work and play with so many incredible peoplecollaboration with Outward Bound Canada dedicated to making nature more accessible andTraining Academy. enjoying adventurous activities all across VancouverIsland and the Mainland.We elevated our environmental educationcurriculum and activities in new ways, learning In 2024, we saw exponential growth in our programabout bears, bats, carnivores, birds, and more structure. We increased our hours in nature bywith partners like the Capital Regional District over 20%, and we focused on more environmental(CRD). We spent time owl banding with Rocky education programs, increasing by 80%. WePoint Bird Observatory, went paddling with brought even more participants into nature, andhumpback whales in the Johnstone Strait, and increased our participant visits by nearly 40%!planted our first garden: it was a year filled withplants and animals!
