When were needed,world with experience and skills, prepared to take on we are here.challenges in their careers and beyond. 2024 was the first year of the Landscaping AlumniAt the end of the first day of the alumniprogram, where the alumni were invited to work as program, I remarked that it felt likepart of our monthly, supervised restoration work- coming home. It was thebiggest turn out for an alumni program yet.JB taught students the traditional methods fordoing a salmon pit cook. They made bannock overthe fire after harvesting evergreen huckleberry onthe reserve. It was an amazing connectionbetween five cohorts learning from a member ofour community."
