Power To Be finds balance on the board

We jumped into wetsuits, life jackets and measured up our long paddles before meeting in a circle to discuss the day. Gaby warned that we might be in and out of the water as we learn to find our balance, and she was right. The warmth of the lake paired with our personal flotation devices made falling in the water part of the experience.

It was incredible to see the progression of skills as we paddled faster and changed direction. With each lesson it was evident that confidence was building, and with each splash I could tell the group was having fun. From sitting to kneeling, swimming to paddling and finally standing up it was magical to witness the group explore their abilities.
