From supporting the administration of our team to helping a participant kayak the coast or explore a trail, your time is the biggest difference in the number of people we can help and lives we can enhance.

Program Volunteer
Assist in the process of creating a safe and supportive environment for Adaptive Recreation participants. Activities could include kayaking, hiking, canoeing and indoor rock climbing.
- Vancouver: We have currently paused on accepting volunteer applications in Vancouver due to a long waitlist and limited opportunities. If you have any questions you can reach out to vanvolunteers@powertobe.ca.

Please note all volunteer opportunities are open to individuals 19 years and older.
How to Join
- Send an email to Power To Be to begin the intake process.
- When notified by Power To Be, submit an online volunteer application.
- Attend an in-person interview with a Power To Be staff member.
- Submit the required paperwork, including criminal record check.
Consider joining our Prospect Lake work parties!
Always with community and fun at the forefront, work parties bring folks together to tackle a variety of seasonal tasks and projects based on the needs of our Prospect Lake site, our programs, and environmental initiatives. Projects may include invasive species removal, trail maintenance, gardening and more!
