When you join Power To Be as a volunteer, you are joining a community of difference-makers. Being a Power To Be volunteer allows you to participate in and explore a variety of unique opportunities and trainings. Whether you want to expand your knowledge of accessibility, apply your outdoor skills to support our participants, spend time outside connecting with others, or just make nature a more inclusive space for our community; we will find the perfect role for you!

Benefits of Volunteering with Power To Be!

 

Some examples of volunteer experiences:

  • Creating a safe and supportive environment for our participants during activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, rock climbing, and many others!
  • Supporting with administrative aspects within the Power To Be office such as front desk support, researching, data entry and various tasks.
  • Assisting before/during/after a Power To Be event, which could include supporting sign in, assembling packages, hosting a booth, set up and tear down.
  • Support general grounds/maintenance and site development at our beautiful Victoria site.
