With an infectious, easy-going energy and a keen eye for where support is needed, Shannon is a great addition to the volunteer team in Vancouver.

Although Shannon is a relatively recent addition to the team, beginning her volunteer journey in 2017, she has jumped in with both feet. She has supported our community groups and open adventure participants on programs such as indoor climbing, disc golf, and kayaking; participated extensively in volunteer training; and has been a shining representative of Power To Be at resource fairs and Have A Go Day (where we invite members of our community to try out a variety of activities during a drop-in program).

A physiotherapist with a background in outdoor recreation and conservation, Shannon brings an abundance of knowledge and ease to our programs. Her fun loving, adaptable nature provides a comforting presence on program that fosters confidence and a community of inclusion. Always ready for adventure, Shannon has an authenticity and passion you want by your side.

Thank you, Shannon, for all that you do to bring accessibility, inclusion, and heart to our programs!
