Daniella joined us in the Spring of 2018, coming to Power To Be with a wealth of inclusive programming knowledge through her work as a Recreation Therapist. Even with this previous experience, Daniella still chose to become immediately active by participating in our volunteer training sessions. Along with her high level of engagement in these sessions, Daniella was able to share her own insight into topics such as relational skills with the Vancouver volunteer team.

Since volunteering with adaptive recreation programming in Vancouver, Daniella has provided support for a diversity of participants. With her charismatic and personable approach, she consistently helps create a safe and social space on programs. Daniella is able to form genuine connections with participants, helping to empower groups in a variety of outdoor adventures.

Daniella’s passion for a range of outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and snowshoeing translates into a high level of comfortability on any program. Coming to program with a positive attitude, Daniella is always ready to face any challenge that a program may present. Most recently she has extended her volunteer support outside of programs and into administration, working with the team on programming location documents.

Thank you for your bright and sociable energy that you bring to so many areas of programming and the Power To Be team, Daniella!
