One of Power To Be’s values is Gratitude. To take pause each day and recognize what you are grateful for has been shown to help people feel more positive emotions, improve their health, relish good experiences, face adversity, and build strong relationships.

In a time like this, full of uncertainty and challenge, there is still much to be grateful for; the frontline workers keeping our communities operating and safe, the birds announcing a new day, the rain arriving to quench our gardens. The list goes on!

To keep gratitude at the forefront, we are introducing The Gratitude Matters Challenge. For 10 days, we invite you to share with us what you are grateful for each day, post it on social media with the hashtags #SpreadGratitude #ItMatters, and nominate a new person each day to do the same.

How to Participate:
  • For the next 10 days, take a moment to reflect each day about what you are truly grateful for
  • Each day, snap a photo of what you are grateful for
  • Post your photo/video on social media (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram). Be sure to hashtag #SpreadGratitude #ItMatters and tag @PowerToBe
  • Nominate a new friend each day to share what they are grateful for
