What can I say about Ashleigh that hasn’t already been said? Well in a word… Wow! Ashleigh’s unwavering commitment to the team, volunteers, participants, and the entire Power To Be community is incredible!
Ashleigh started with us many moons ago as an amazing volunteer in our wilderness school as well for Power To Play. She easily became someone the team could trust and made her mark quickly. When a position opened up at the organization she jumped in and not only helped carve out the volunteer program but was ready to learn and about how evaluation could be an incredible way to measure the true impact of our services. She is the most elegant octopus, able to do many projects and tie them together in a way that connects people to our core values and vision.
It is wonderful to watch Ashleigh taking the lead on laying out our new volunteer engagement and impact planning and leading her team. She knocks it out of the park. Not only does Ashleigh demonstrate the positive impact our work has had, she plans and prepares a million little (and some big) things that may not get noticed or recognized by all. When you connect with Ashleigh, you get 100% of her attention and you feel like the most important person in the room. As a Power To Be team member, Ashleigh exemplifies our core values of inclusion and belonging so, so well.
