The Yellow Bus Foundation and Power To Be create opportunities for children and youth, together

Raising funds to support youth, The Yellow Bus Foundation is helping small charities have a big impact.

Based in Toronto, The Yellow Bus Foundation brings play to the forefront every year with the 100 Hole Golf Marathon. The fundraising tournament inspires 30 golfers to reach out to their own communities to support Canadian charities. The event has raised $5.3 million since 2006 and Power To Be has been a partial recipient of those efforts since 2014.

“Large grants like the ones afforded to Power To Be through The Yellow Bus Foundation give us the ability to invest in resources to develop and build on the depth and quality of our programming” says Tim Cormode, Power To Be Executive Director.

Combining core values to impact the communities served, Power To Be and The Yellow Bus Foundation are focused on creating opportunities for children, youth and adults that may not have been accessible without additional support.

Expressing gratitude for shared values, Kim Carrigan, The Yellow Bus Foundation Manager, says Power To Be and The Yellow Bus foundation connect through aligned goals and a mutually beneficial relationship. Kim says the strength is found in the combination of shared goals as she has seen first-hand the positive outcome that can create in a community.

From all of us at Power To Be, thank you Yellow Bus Foundation for the ongoing support of our inclusive adventures rooted in nature. Together, we are able to provide programming to more than 1,200 participants this year.
