Create New Possibilities

At Power To Be, we encourage participants to push beyond their own expectations and explore adventures in nature they never thought attainable. Whether hiking, climbing, kayaking, canoeing, or camping, our participants continue to show us that, when we remove barriers, anything is possible.

Amber says that she loves the way that Power To Be invites her to try new things and to be out in nature as much as she can.

Participant Spotlight: Arnold

The reason Arnold was initially interested in joining Power To Be is rather inspirational: he wants to try everything once. For example, kayaking was never on his radar (as Arnold is afraid of deep water), but after trying kayaking with Power To Be he ended up loving it! His point and message are this: “It’s really important to try something before you decide whether you like it or not.”

Who your money helps.

Our programs support people in our local communities. Whether an individual is living with a financial, physical, cognitive or social barrier, we’re here to help them access nature and explore their limitless abilities.

Where your money goes.

We believe in full transparency, which means you know where your every dollar goes. Less than eight per cent of our funding goes to general administration. For every dollar invested in fundraising, we give back $3.37 to support our programs and empower our participants to access nature.
