Power To Golf raises $261,000 for inclusive recreation programs

At Victoria Golf Club, 31 teams of golfers had the opportunity to connect with Power To Be’s community, including participants and volunteers. The evening reception, hosted by Peter and Ali Gustavson, offered guests incredible door prize adventure packages and impressive silent auction items made possible by the generous donations from Power To Be supporters across Canada and as far away as Thailand.

“Our amazing community of supporters makes it possible for Power To Be to offer inclusive, accessible recreation to youth and families in Victoria and Vancouver,” says Tim Cormode, Power To Be Executive Director. “We truly believe that everyone belongs in nature, and that given the opportunity to challenge themselves in that environment they will be able to develop confidence in all areas of their lives.”
