Earlier in August, the echo of laughter filled Westwood Lake Park during an action-packed day of kayaking, trail riding, and paddleboarding. Power To Be and SUP4ALL teamed up with the Nanaimo Child Development Centre to deliver their very first day of outdoor play. With the support of parents, volunteers, and staff, the day was an awesome success with more than a dozen kids participating in the fun.
Spending time outside is important for everyone, and we are pleased to team up with like-minded organizations to deliver programs which make accessibility possible. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this very special day happen. We hope to make this an annual event and to see more collaborative programs like this in the future!
