Henry began volunteering with Power To Be more than 10 years ago. At that time, he was part of a team of volunteers that provided adaptive kayaking opportunities out of Deep Cove. Beyond regular Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning paddles, Henry supported participants on overnight expeditions up the Indian Arm. As Power To Be grew and expanded into new activities, such as snowshoeing and rock climbing, Henry has continued to be a central support.

With his wealth of experience, Henry also represents Power To Be at community events and resource fairs, spreading the word about our services. Henry enjoys volunteering because it provides motivation to get outdoors. He has been inspired to stay active and engaged for so many years because of the relationships built with participants and their ambitions to push themselves in outdoor adventures. We are truly grateful for Henry’s capable and consistent support throughout the evolution of our Lower Mainland programming.
